OUR PARK
The Crescent Hills Community Park is at 141 Sycamore Drive. It is over one and a half acres of recreational area for all Crescent Hills Residents to enjoy. In the 1960’s community developers set aside this land for use as a park.
The park is owned by the Civic Association, which represents the households of the neighborhood and is not part of the municipal parks/recreation system of Penn Hills. The park includes a fenced-in toddler area, complete with new equipment purchased and installed in 2014. We Thank the many volunteers who donated their time and money to this project.
There is a baseball field, a playground area with a climbing fort, swings and monkey bars, tennis/street hockey courts, picnic shelter and a walking trail. Toilet facilities, drinking fountains and parking are available. The park is used for many community gatherings, include the Annual Plant Sale, Easter Egg Hunt, Memorial Day Picnic, Kids Storytime in the Park, Kids Carnivals and Concerts in the Park.
The park is home to adult volleyball on Mondays every summer. Feel free to join your neighbors in this sport in the summer!
